Later he attended the Royal Oak High School in Covina city of Los Angeles. Besides having his interests inclined to music as a teenager, he was also active in playing football, basketball, baseball, surfing, and wrestling.
He started his musical career back in 1979. Later in 1980, he joined the band as the lead vocalist and joined in playing its first album, ‘Too Fat for Love.’
In the year 1983, the band released another hit named, ‘Shout at the Devil’. This song established them in rock and roll.
